2010 NBA Free Agency - LeBron James

Wednesday, June 23, 2010
LeBron James is one of the best players this league has seen since Michael Jordan. He has been thrown comparison of Jordan since he joined the league.

He also has a lot of people putting him ahead of Kobe Bryant as the best player in the NBA.

With that said, James is the best free-agent in this class. Perhaps the best free-agent you'll ever see.

James is the first back-to-back MVP since Steve Nash and for obvious reasons.

He lead his Cleveland Cavaliers to one of the best records in the NBA. On top of that, he had them playing at the highest level I'd seen them play since mid-season.

However, the eventual runner-up Boston just had too much fire-power for the Cavaliers and they were sent home--once again.

Now with that, many suspect that was the last straw for Cleveland. Before the season started, everybody speculated that if they were unable to get a championship in Cleveland that their hometown hero James could be out the door.

During the season, there had been a lot of speculation that he could possibly land in New York with Jay Z, or the Knicks.

To spice up the James-to-Knicks theorem, they cleared there roster and opened up a lot of cap space. Meaning they could grab James and other player like Chris Bosh or Dwyane Wade.

The speculation gets thicker and nobody really knows where the superstar could land. He says the Cavaliers have the edge but that doesn't mean he isn't looking forward to joining any other teams.

The Knicks, Cavaliers, Clippers, and Bulls have been the most likely in the LeBron Sweepstakes. In my opinion, he'll land somewhere out of those four teams.

Watch out Cavalier fans, that picture shows LeBron James taking off a Cleveland Jersey. That may be the last time you see that happening.
